About My Practice
I am an attorney based in California, focusing my practice on family law, mediation, collaboration, and estate planning. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Political Science from San Jose State University and completed my legal studies at Baylor University.
My journey into law began at an estate planning firm, where I first fell in love with working with families and individuals as they plan for their futures. After law school, I fell into family law, and my passion grew recognizing the profound impact compassionate legal support can have during life’s most challenging transitions. In 2016, I co-founded my own practice and remain a partner there.
My professional philosophy is shaped by the belief that “new beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.” I approach each case with the perspective that transitions like divorce are not just the end of a relationship, but an opportunity for empowerment while embarking on a new beginning. I see my role as akin to that of a “sherpa,” guiding my clients through complex legal terrain with empathy and expertise, ensuring they emerge stronger and well-prepared for the future.
Outside of my legal career, I am an avid reader and traveler, continually inspired by exploring diverse communities and cultures. I find peace in nature and return to my hometown of Santa Cruz, California at every opportunity.
