Amanda L. Routt

Amanda L. Routt is a family law attorney serving clients throughout the Sacramento region. Before entering the legal profession, Amanda spent ten years working for the U.S. Postal Service. She later transitioned to a family retail business, where she led a customer service team of twenty-five employees and eventually managed financial, back-office, and bookkeeping operations. She credits this diverse professional background with helping her develop the strong organizational, client service, and communication skills she brings to her legal practice.

Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lincoln Law School and has dedicated her practice to family law. Her interest in this field was shaped in part by her own experience navigating a difficult divorce and custody matter. That experience provided her with a direct understanding of the emotional, financial, and practical challenges families face during separation.

Amanda approaches divorce with a focus on thoughtful resolution whenever possible. She believes the process should not unnecessarily drain a family’s financial resources and works with clients to pursue negotiated and mediated outcomes when appropriate, such as in the collaborative process.
